Corrosion is a nature's way of reversing an unnatural process.
It is biodegradable, non-toxic, eco-friendly, biodegradable, making it an ecologically friendly substance. "LANOLIN" is used in the harshest conditions, providing environmentally-friendly corrosion protection. PRE CLEANUP PIPE INSPECTION
Degrease drill strings and risers, internally & externally, using Lantos Citra- Prep CP250, allow time to dry, Clean off any signs of onset corrosion, reduce any surface oils, then apply Lantos Lanoseal LS773 sealer coating for robust external protection of drill strings and pipe casings.
For long-term internal pipe corrosion protection, using a pig head with a fine spray applicator, apply Lantos Lanolube HG735, allow to drain and dry, recover the cap ends if and as required. Will maintain up to 6 months (plus) protection if not exposed to direct sunlight. will result in ongoing maintenance and reduction of protection costs.
DRILL PIPE CORROSION PROTECTION (Case Study)
Because of escalating costs of drilling repair and replacement, defining problem areas such as; handling and maintenance procedures will reduce downtime and cost losses.
A case study in the late 1990s by API showed that one 20,000-ft drill string costs about $600,000 and has a 7-year lifespan. Assuming the average rig life is 21 years, each rig will wear out three strings, totaling $1.8 million. The addition of $30,000/year for full rack inspections, repairs, and downhole loss brings the total to approximately $2.4 million/rig over the 21 years. A contractor with a fleet of 25 rigs could expend $60 million on drill pipe-the construction cost of a well-equipped, 300-ft jack-up rig.
The study identified four basic causes of drill pipe failures:

- Internal corrosion
- Fatigue cracking in the slip and internal upset areas
- Physical damage to the tool joint threads and shoulders, and to the tube.

- Do not put the pipe directly on the ground. The first layer of the pipe should be no less than 0.3m above the ground.
- The height of the pipe stack on a rack should not exceed 2.5 m, and the pipe should be secured with a post to prevent rolling out.
- When the pipe is laid in several rows, should place 3 wooden blocks between each row so that the tool-joint elements do not touch each other.
- Easier maintenance inspection.

PLATFORM MAINTENANCE (MICRO FILM SEAL)
Combat the deterioration of surfaces on an oil rig due to high levels of salt spray, acid, and alkali cleaners. The costs of erosion, abrasion, impact, metal-to-metal contact, oxidation and corrosion, or a combination of these require continuous upkeep. Cleaning the surface is an equally important task before spraying on LS773.
